Brokerage Operations Manager II, AWS Cloud Logistics (ACL)

AWS Infrastructure is seeking a talented, driven, and highly analytical Brokerage Operations Manager with proven experience in driving process improvement and managing complex projects. The ideal candidate will:
1. Oversee day-to-day broker operations management
2. Lead process optimization initiatives
3. Execute projects that contribute to strategic goals
4. Champion lean operations principles
The successful candidate will have a track record of enhancing operational efficiency and driving tangible results in a fast-paced environment.
The position is based in Dublin.
Key job responsibilities:
1. Initiate, drive, and finalize complex multi-stakeholder customs projects.
2. Oversee import/export brokerage operations, planning, and execution for existing programs.
3. Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
4. Manage trade planning and execution for new program and/or regional launches.
5. Drive optimization initiatives by leveraging technology and best-in-class lean operation techniques.
6. Conduct trend analyses to identify bottlenecks and develop solutions.
7. Effectively execute projects and communicate objectives and deliverables, both verbally and in writing, and present progress to various business and technology teams.
8. Present data-driven business reviews to senior management.

Minimum Requirements:
1. 7+ years of direct experience in import/export operations
2. 5+ years of project management experience, demonstrating tangible results in a fast-paced environment
3. Proficiency in Lean methodology
4. Ability to prioritize activities with changing timelines
5. Global logistics or supply chain experience
6. Expertise in data-driven process improvement tools and metrics
7. Experience engaging with regulators and representing complex requirements for import and/or export activities
8. 3+ years of experience analyzing business problems using various analytical tools
9. 2+ years of experience leveraging technology to drive process improvements
10. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
