To undertake and report on high quality Ultrasound examinations and in accordance with professional standards and department protocols. To undertake additional supervisory duties as may be determined by the Lead Sonographer and agreed by mutual consent. To reliably produce work of the highest standard and be responsible for assessing and maintaining own standards while working under extreme pressure. To manage your specific area within the Diagnostic Imaging Department on a day-to-day basis, making use of staff, equipment and other resources to provide a service of the highest quality to patients, their carers and their referring clinicians. To monitor and maintain standards of ultrasound to meet both local and national requirements where appropriate. Demonstrate professional commitment; be smart, punctual and enthusiastic in the promotion of the profession in general and in specialist area of imaging in particular.
