Assistant Store Manager - Exciting New Store Opening in Luton
The Opportunity

We’re thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager to join our team at our brand-new store in Luton, located in a prime spot within The Mall. This will be one of the largest stores in our portfolio of 23 locations, making it an exceptional opportunity for someone eager to contribute to its success.
Working closely with the General Manager, you’ll play a vital role in motivating and supporting the team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve store objectives. This role requires leadership, organisational skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for retail.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the General Manager to lead and inspire the team to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
* Overseeing daily operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and staff scheduling.
* Supervising and training team members to maintain high standards of service and compliance with company policies.
* Ensuring the store remains organised, visually appealing, and aligned with the brand’s image.
* Providing constructive feedback and support to foster team development.
* Handling administrative duties such as payroll, reporting, and stock control.
Working Hours
This is a 39-hour-per-week role, with the following shift pattern:
* Monday: 8:00am - 6:00pm
* Tuesday: Day Off
* Wednesday: 8:00am - 6:00pm
* Thursday: 8:00am - 3:30pm
* Friday: 8:00am - 3:00pm
* Saturday: Day Off
* Sunday: 10:00am - 5:00pm
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a confident and skilled individual with:
* Proven experience in retail, ideally in a fashion environment.
* Strong sales abilities with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Bilingual or multilingual skills (highly desirable).
* Proficiency in customer service practices and effective team supervision.
* A proactive, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
* Strong communication skills to engage with both customers and colleagues.
