The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions within a legal environment, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining accurate financial records. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in various accounting software. Responsibilities Process all financial transactions accurately, including receipts, payments, and reconciliations. Maintain and update client accounts, ensuring all entries are correct and up-to-date. Handle accounts payable, ensuring timely payments to vendors and service providers. Prepare financial reports as required, providing insights into cash flow and account balances. Liaise with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to financial transactions. Ensure compliance with legal accounting standards and regulations. Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and records as requested. Skills Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero is essential. Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and procedures. Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
