An exciting opportunity has arisen within the quality team at Teldoc. We are looking for a qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) who can combine a clinical role with senior management responsibilities. This is a dynamic and evolving role. You must have a strong focus on continual quality improvement.
The post holder will work closely with the Director of Quality & Governance to provide support to the Clinical Governance and Quality Agenda within Teldoc. To provide visible, professional clinical leadership that promotes the values of care, compassion, and respect for patients, carers, and staff.

About us
The role is based at any of the six Teldoc practices, but you may be required to provide cover at the Priorslee and Shifnal sites, so you must be able to travel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
General
1. Promote & maintain high standards of clinical care.
2. Provide line manager support to NP, Paramedic, and ACP team.
3. Maintain active engagement with clinical staff, assisting in staff induction, performance reviews, and appraisals.
Quality & Governance
1. Participate in the conduction of clinical audits, reporting findings.
2. Ensure consistent clinical protocols are in place across the organisation, conducting regular reviews to ensure they remain relevant.
3. Lead on designated clinical areas, such as early cancer diagnosis.
4. Provide support in the management of clinical complaints, promoting a culture which encourages clinicians to review practice.
5. Lead on Significant Event Analysis to identify and disseminate learning.
6. Attend Quality Governance meetings.
7. Assist with ensuring the organisation meets and maintains the requirements of Care Quality Commission.
8. Assist in the management and investigation of incidents, sharing lessons learned.
Other
1. Maintain own skills in quality, governance, audit, and risk management.
2. Undertake such duties as may be delegated to the post-holder from time to time.
Person Specification
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
* Sound understanding of Risk Management.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively and engage a multidisciplinary team.
* Knowledge of clinical research processes, including legislation and governance.
Experience
* Previous managerial experience.
* Involvement with Quality Governance processes and clinical audits.
* Experience of complaint handling.
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse / Paramedic.
* PgDip / MSc qualification in Advanced Clinical Practice.
* Evidence of Quality Improvement related study.
