You will be processing Student Bursary Applications and provide support as necessary to ensure students access the funding to which they are entitled.

About You
We are seeking to appoint a motivated individual who is passionate about facilitating appropriate funding for students to support and drive attendance, attainment and achievement. You will be part of a team who will share your passion in supporting students and ensuring they receive the funding they are entitled to under the government funding streams.
You will be processing funding applications on the 'Paymystudent' portal and ensuring all relevant paperwork is in order and in place to be able to demonstrate good practice and adherence to audit regulations.
You will have an eye for detail when distributing bursary funding in line with government legislation but equally be empathetic about individual circumstances where students may need you to use your discretion in awarding additional support. This will be provided in conjunction with your line manager to ensure students are fully supported to achieve their learning outcomes.
You will have a "can do" attitude and be passionate about supporting our students in their college journey either yourself or by signposting to other departments and agencies who can support. Safeguarding, student welfare, and achievement is central to all you do.
