We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a temporary full-time basis.
Job Description
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of students with special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN.
* Assisting the class teacher in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs).
* Supporting students in their academic, social, and emotional development.
* Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
* Monitoring and recording student progress and providing feedback to the teaching team.
Requirements
* Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
* A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support is an advantage.
