Job Description
Due to the continued growth, we are now looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager in Chichester (Goodwood).
This role reports to the Project/Contracts Manager and will involve liaising daily with suppliers, Site Supervisors, Project Managers, EHSQ Advisors and Subcontractors.
What you would do:
1. Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical building services.
2. Ensure all relevant permits are in place.
3. Conduct inspections and tests to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
4. Liaise with main contractors and the client-based site team.
5. Ensure on-site delivery and compliance of EHSQ, RAMS, PPE etc.
6. On-site coordination of plant hire, tools, and labour.
7. Oversee and manage labour and subcontractors.
8. Update appropriate information to progress report.
9. Maintain K&M Document Management System.
10. Communicate changes to the Project team.
11. Maintain project quality reporting and monitoring.
What we are looking for:
1. Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering / Building Services.
2. Previous experience in a Mechanical Supervisor/Project Manager or similar role.
3. Experience of managing teams.
4. Successful track record in managing large projects.
5. Computer literate with exceptional interpersonal skills.
6. Willingness to travel if/when required.
