Job Summary
The Van Driver operates a passenger van safely and efficiently. Follows specific regularly scheduled routes and responds to requests from management for unscheduled pick-ups or drop-offs.
Primary Duties
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. These duties and responsibilities will be rated on the Annual Performance Review.
1. Responsible for pickup and delivery of all ServiceSource employees in a safe and timely manner to work destinations according to the assigned schedule and designated routes.
2. Responsible for weekly paperwork including Time sheets, Vehicle Use Inspection Logs, Van Rider Report, Vehicle Wipe Down Log, and Fuel usage log to be turned in every Tuesday.
3. Perform daily inspection of vehicle to include, but not be limited to ensuring that the tires are in good condition, oil and water are at appropriate levels, the exterior of the van has not been damaged, etc.; and provide written documentation to supervisor of needed service or repairs. Maintain interior vehicle cleanliness daily and exterior as needed.
4. Ensure that employees/route listing, directions and maps are in the van and rider logs are current with phone numbers and emergency contact numbers.
Additional Responsibilities
* Complete accurate incident, accident, and seizure reports as needed.
* Create and send out schedules to drivers and management.
* Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualification: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)
High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) preferred.
Three years experience driving a passenger vehicle preferred.
Per contract, valid driver’s license and good motor vehicle record (MVR) required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to work with people internally and externally at all levels of an organization.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent customer skills and time management abilities.
Proficient with Google Maps or GPS with basic computer skills.
