Guncast Group specialises in the design, construction and maintenance of luxury pools, spas, saunas, steam baths and various other wellness facilities. It encompasses 2 specialist companies in the wet leisure industry; Guncast Pools & Wellness and Dröm UK and operates under the umbrella of the world leading wellness supplier KLAFS.
With offices in West Sussex, Oxfordshire, Cheshire and West Byfleet we operate nationally on a range of diverse projects, such as high-end residential, private facilities, boutique hotel/club spas and wellness centers, together with larger commercial leisure projects.
Due to significant growth in the demand for our product and services, we are looking to appoint a Marketing Assistant who will work across both marketing and sales divisions. This position is ideal for someone who is digitally savvy, highly organized, and eager to develop their skills in both sales and marketing within a dynamic industry environment.
Role & Responsibilities
SALES
1. Support the sales team to deliver comprehensive proposals in a timely manner, helping to ensure that proposals are correct and inclusive of all necessary information.
2. Proof reading and checking quotes.
3. Administration of the CRM system / quote directory.
4. Liaise with suppliers & subcontractors to enquire about pricing.
5. Support the sales team to generate and convert leads and enquiries.
6. Develop knowledge and experience over time to be able to attend meetings and liaise with clients, main contractors, site managers and other subcontractors in a confident and proactive manner, building effective working relationships.
7. Preparation of sales presentation materials.
8. Event support as required.
MARKETING
Social Media Management:
1. Support the Marketing Manager in liaising with the social media agency by providing feedback, reviewing and checking copy for accuracy and audience alignment, and contributing fresh ideas.
2. Stay up-to-date with social media trends and analyse competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
3. Capture and provide high-quality content (e.g., project photography, showroom imagery, event coverage) for agency use and social platforms.
4. Manage reactive posting on platforms like LinkedIn and Instagram and engage with audience comments to build the brand’s presence.
Content and Campaign Support:
1. Arrange photo shoots to capture “best-in-class” projects.
2. Support content creation by researching blog topics and capturing internal knowledge for the content agency.
3. Update and maintain website content to ensure all information remains accurate and up-to-date.
Reporting and Collaboration:
1. Assist the Marketing Manager in creating monthly marketing reports.
2. Collaborate with KLAFS HQ marketing team, supporting translations for press releases, website content, and marketing materials.
Attributes / Qualifications
1. A minimum of 12 months experience in either a sales or marketing role.
2. Dynamic, quick to learn, appetite for knowledge and self-development.
3. Some existing knowledge of social media platforms and trends, with a strong interest in social media and digital marketing.
4. Digital-savvy, with a working knowledge of tools for content creation (e.g., basic video editing or graphic design software) and proofreading experience.
5. Previous experience in the building industry or sales preferable - but not essential.
6. Ability to read and interpret architectural & technical drawings desirable but not essential.
7. Good organisational and communication skills.
8. Self-motivated and able to self-manage when required.
9. Excellent computer literacy. Email and cloud-based server.
10. Proof reading qualification or experience.
11. Build good working relationships with other parties both internal and external.
