About the Role
Who are TPS?
TPS provides independent garages and bodyshops with high-quality Genuine Parts and products necessary for servicing and repairing Volkswagen Group vehicles. TPS is part of the Volkswagen Group, which includes Audi, SEAT, ŠKODA, Volkswagen passenger cars, and Commercial Vehicles. TPS operates a national network of Centres with a 1,500-strong workforce, fostering a motivating and inclusive workplace that emphasizes learning, development, recognition, and rewards.
Launched as a new brand concept in 2006, TPS is based on an Agency Model, meaning Centres stock and sell on behalf of Volkswagen Group UK. TPS has experienced rapid growth both financially and in the number of Centres nationwide.
What will you be doing?
As a Parts Sales Executive, you will work with the Sales Manager and team to deliver and achieve the Centre's business plan and sales objectives.
* Achieve personal KPIs and revenue objectives with target customers
* Identify parts accurately to meet customer requirements
* Utilize all product promotions effectively to meet targets
* Identify and leverage potential sales opportunities within the customer base
* Maintain product knowledge and awareness of competitor activity
* Build strong relationships with customers through regular contact via phone and face-to-face visits
* Provide high-quality customer service by understanding requirements, responding to requests, progressing orders, and offering expert advice
* Communicate timely updates to customers regarding their credit status
* Support the TPS Centre team to ensure good working relationships and excellent customer service
* Collaborate with the Sales Manager and team to achieve sales targets
* Handle incoming calls and inquiries within KPIs, using approved greetings
* Use all systems properly to search and order parts
* Complete documentation accurately and promptly
* Manage cash and credit card transactions per TPS guidelines
What are we looking for?
* A self-starter with a proven track record in building relationships and achieving sales targets in a B2B environment
* Confident communicator with experience in fast-paced or telesales environments
* Passion for providing excellent customer service
* Strong verbal and written communication skills to build relationships with key stakeholders
* A team player with drive and determination to meet individual and sales targets weekly and monthly
* Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills
* IT literacy, preferably with good knowledge of MS Excel
