Architectural Technician - Online
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will deliver design solutions, including contract drawing packs and planning drawings. Working closely with the Design Director and Technical Director you will ensure alignment on costs and design. Your role involves continuous improvement of Maris' Design and CAD systems, collaboration with the project build team, and strict compliance with regulations.
We are seeking a qualified Architectural Technician with experience in commercial office interiors setting with advanced AutoCAD skills, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and a positive, can-do attitude. Join us to make impactful design contributions.
Your main responsibilities will include:

Producing contract and alteration drawing packs, ensuring alignment with cost and design.

Assessing and enhancing design solutions while adhering to Maris' standards and filing systems.

Creating flawless design drawings, conducting site surveys, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Maintaining precise project records, attending coordination meetings, and assisting the Senior Architectural Technician.
You will have experience in commercial office interiors, advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel. Your skills extend to Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, PowerPoint, and Photoshop. With a high level of self-motivation, enthusiasm, and ambition, you possess a positive can-do attitude and thrive as a team player. Holding a relevant BTEC or higher qualification, your background in interiors and corporate experience makes you an ideal fit for the role.
