As a QC / Chemical Off-Loader the main purpose of your role will involve, working in a team and actively becoming a team player assisting with the daily operations of the laboratory and lab equipment, physical testing on incoming chemicals & raw material as well as various finished product samples manufactured on site. You will be off-loading chemical tankers and ensuring deliveries & supply of the chemicals to the production lines are completed with the necessary environmental, health and safety procedures and policies are fully applied.
Responsibilities of our QC Technician
Effective application of Quality requirements:
1. Complete understanding of product quality critical characteristics and standards,
2. Effective understanding and application of in-process and final product specifications,
3. Troubleshoot & implement or provide solutions to machinery/ testing & processing issues that might impact product quality,
4. Inspect & test products with precision measuring tools and record results,
5. Supporting third party requirements such as quality processing samples and related correspondence.
6. Support SEA investigation and counter measure implementation.
Managing/performing the day-to-day operation of the Lab & Tank Farm:
7. Accurately performing & recording test results
8. Safely off-load & test incoming chemicals & raw material
High level of processes/ machinery skills, knowledge and ability:
9. Fully trained and be able to operate machinery and equipment to the required standards,
10. Work in accordance with all information, instruction, training and supervision,
11. Operate machinery to fabricate, manufacture, assemble, or move/scan products,
12. Monitor output and adjust machine settings within scope of role to maintain productivity and quality standards,
13. Adjust machine as needed for testing, different functions, or other varying needs of testing,
14. Assist in the performing of scheduled cleaning duties and basic maintenance activities,

20. Able to follow instruction and production schedules
21. COSHH Training and Awareness
Whilst not essential, the following would be of benefit:
22. Knowledge of SAP
23. Basic understanding of touch screen technology
24. Experience of working with various IT programs i.e. MS Word, Excel
25. Previous experience working in a factory/ manufacturing process environment
26. Previous experience working in a laboratory
27. Accredited lift truck training
28. Full Driving license
