Job Overview An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Cardiac Physiologist to join our friendly team at Wexham Park Hospital. It is a 12 month post covering Maternity Leave We are a forward-thinking department offering a wide range of invasive and non-invasive investigations and therapies including, Ambulatory Monitoring, Exercise Tolerance Testing, Pacemaker, ICD and Complex device implantation, follow up and angiography. We are striving to expand on Physiologist led services and aim to provide and assist staff in Continuing Professional Development. This post would be an opportunity for a Physiologist with core knowledge and skills wanting to progress their career Main duties of the job Assisting in the delivery of a high-quality Cardiac Investigation Service Being able to perform a wide range of investigations including Echocardiography, pacemaker, ICD and complex device interrogation and follow-up with some supervision; assisting in PPM/ICD/CRT device implant procedures; assisting in all invasive investigations in the Cardiac Catheter Lab and providing comprehensive reports; Leading in Exercise Tolerance Testing as well as undertaking Holter analysis and reporting Working for our organisation Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is committed to being an inclusive and disability confident employer and has been awarded the Gold for the Armed Forces Employment Recognition Scheme.
