About The Role:
Identifying new prospects and opportunities for warehousing/Co - Pack/Value Added Services, expanding the portfolio of logistics, warehousing and packing customers
Business Development of pipeline for new business and developing the base of existing business
Prepare detailed presentations and attend meetings/exhibitions, presenting when required
Building a strong understanding of the current competition and all services offered by the business to the customer
As a business development manager you will be travelling to customers sites as and when required
Essential Skills & Experience
Previous experience working within the logistics industry, prospecting new business ideally within a Business Development role
Previous experience managing clients and current sales strategy
Previous experience working with Contract packing, co-pack, 3PL logistics and warehousing clients
Full drivers license with access to a car
