Position: SEN Tutor
Location: PRU Setting, Key Stage 3, Sheffield Area
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Term Time Only

About the Role:
As a SEN Tutor working with Academics Agency, you will play a crucial role in supporting Key Stage 3 pupils within a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) setting. Your main focus will be on delivering tailored instruction in Maths and English, helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide one-on-one and small group support in Maths and English.
2. Develop and implement individualized learning plans tailored to each student's needs.
3. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
4. Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback.
5. Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
Requirements:
1. Relevant teaching qualification or experience working with SEN students.
2. Strong knowledge of Key Stage 3 Maths and English curriculum.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs.
5. Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to a dynamic educational setting.
6. DBS on the update service or willing to get one.
