Operations Support Specialist

The Role
As an Operations Support Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the company’s global operations. Reporting to the Service Delivery Lead, you’ll assist with diverse responsibilities to ensure seamless service delivery. This hybrid role offers flexibility and opportunities to travel to client sites, collaborating with major players in the aviation sector.
Responsibilities:
* Managing stock and shipping requirements, including Goods In/Goods Out and dispatching.
* Coordinating inventory for our team of testers to ensure they’re always equipped for success.
* Handling calibration processes for our testing equipment and assisting with client calibration needs.
* Supporting client testing plans, ad-hoc testing requests, and allocating resources for call-out testing.
* Organising travel arrangements for testers and sending post-test reports to clients.
* Building relationships within our testing network and supporting training initiatives.
* Ensuring seamless operations by exceeding client expectations and limiting disruptions during testing activities.
* Collaborating with laboratories to ensure accurate processing and reporting of test results.
* Identifying up-sale opportunities and promoting additional client support services.
About You:
* 1–2 years of experience in administrative, operational, or shipping roles is preferred, though not essential.
* A can-do attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability are key.
* Confidence, flexibility, and a proactive mindset are essential.
* Ability to occasionally travel to client locations (a valid driver’s licence and vehicle required).
* Interest in aviation, transport, or drug and alcohol testing is a plus.
