Trauma Learning Coach – Torbay
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people who have experienced trauma? Axcis Education is working with a secondary school in the Torbay area that is seeking a Trauma Learning Coach to support students on a 1:1 and small group basis. This position offers an opportunity to work within a supportive, trauma-informed environment, providing tailored assistance to students with complex needs.
Key Details:
1. Position: Trauma Learning Coach (Permanent or Temporary)
2. Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM (with a 30-minute lunch break)
3. Pay Rate: £85-£100 per day (dependent on experience, skills, and qualifications)
4. Start Date: Week commencing 24th February (or possibly sooner for the right applicant)
What We’re Looking For:
1. Experience working with young people or adults with learning difficulties, particularly SEMH (Social, Emotional, Mental Health) needs
2. A bubbly, enthusiastic personality and a passion for supporting students who struggle to engage with learning or form relationships
3. A commitment to helping students overcome the barriers caused by trauma
4. Someone with a genuine interest in making a positive impact on students' lives
