Role - Operations Manager\nLocation - Manchester\nSalary - £up to £75k plus car allowance, bonus and package (Neg depending on experience)\nHousing\nPermanent roleThe role\n\nLinsco is working with a leading Housing company who is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join their team due to growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company who can offer security, career progression and a fantastic work life balance.\n\nIdeally, we are looking for someone who comes from a social housing background however my client will also consider other housing experience including new build and residential\n\nDuties\n\nProvide Health and safety leadership to operational management team and their site delivery teams, ensuring all works are carried out in a safe manner and does not cause risk to our installers, Residents and the general public.\nLiaising closely with the Operational Support Team to ensure all contracts are carried out in accordance with agreed specifications and in a compliant way to ensure quality and compliance standards are met\nCreating operational delivery targets and ensuring all projects meet or exceed these targets.\nWork with our Senior Management team to build and strengthen our supply chain.\nEnsure our suppliers, subcontractors and direct workforce follow company policies and procedures including Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Installation standards\nOversee operational on-site delivery teams to ensure works cause minimal disruption for Residents and ensure areas are always kept clean and tidy.\nEnsure appropriate training is provided to our operational delivery teams including where necessary toolbox talks, daily activity briefings, Health & Safety training, and NVQ/Vocational qualifications\nMaintain accurate records of progress and performance on all Projects and share this with the Senior Management team and Board.\nLiaise with the Operational Support team to ensure materials are ordered on time and to meet specification requirements for all projects.\nEnsure all Projects are carried out to the highest possible standard complying with relevant industry and system manufacturers' standards, completed, snagged and defect free.\nLead and support on site operational delivery teams to deliver the company's senior management expectations successfully across all key areas of the projects, managing and supporting the individuals and team that are under your control to meet and exceed business performance targets.Extra bits\n\nProven and demonstrable experience in the role of an operations Manager overseeing multiple Projects.\nExperience of working in occupied buildings/homes\nExperience of managing health and safety procedures along with knowledge of H&S standards/regulations\nSMSTS, CSCS Card, First Aid (preferred)\nCompetent user of IT software packages including MS Office or similar tablet-based quality assurance software.\nCompetent user of programme scheduling software (preferred).\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nHigh level of organisational ability along with time management skills in order to drive and meet deadlines.\nSelf-motivated with a proactive approach to all tasks undertaken.\nCommitment to providing a high-quality service demonstrating reliability, conscientiousness and flexibility (essential).\nAdept at working in a team and providing leadership/support to fellow team members (essential).\nExcellent communication and leadership abilities.\nAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.\nKnowledge of energy efficiency measures utilised within the public sector.\nExcellent interpersonal skills, with clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.\nInspirational leader able to build and develop a strong and highly committed team.\nAbility and desire to take on increased operational responsibilities and take an active role at Board level.For more information, please apply with an updated CV or contact Jennifer directly.\n\nLinsco is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
