The client seeks a solid senior Advisor, or existing Manager level individual keen to develop with the company. You will work remotely and on-site in this position, so you must be able to manage your diary effectively, aswell as line manage a small & highly effective health and safety team.
This role:
Line managing a small HSEQ team
Keeping up to date with SHE legislation and company policies and procedures, and ensuring that the site teams are following
Advising senior management on H&S policy & governance
Liaising with site management, offering health and safety advice as necessary
Attending regular health and safety meetings
Leading accident/incident investigations
The successfulcandidate will have:
Proven experience in a similar role within the wider construction industry
The ability to influence and engage a range of stakeholders and be comfortable working on-site
A strong technical knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation, compliance and regulations
This position will require a self-starter who can lead by example and hit the ground running; excellent communication skills are essential.
