Inside MeTS, the Transport and Mobility Pillar has a mission to power journeys and movement worldwide, connecting people wherever and however they need to travel, whilst prioritising customer satisfaction and social empowerment of our people. * Transport Retail : connecting people to transportation systems to improve their daily lives
* Mobility Orchestration : Integrating transport modes to make MaaS a reality

* Settlement and Specialist services : providing large scale critical platforms to keep transport on the move
We are looking for a Business Development Executive to expand our reach across UK&I transport and related markets, building on the success of different products that have been sold in non UK markets. These could be sold to existing customers or to new prospects. This is an outward facing role which requires a passion and curiosity for solving customer problems and experience of prospecting, constructing winning pitches and proposals and forging strong customer relationships.
Working with potential clients or customers you will grow a strong understanding of the services and/or products that Worldline are able to offer and the differentiators and benefits we bring to the market.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* You qualify, develop, and maintain thorough company and product knowledge, research customer needs, and identify how our solutions can meet them
* You primarily focus on generating new leads but also look to grow existing relationships, maintaining an accurate, detailed client book, and developing an active, repeat customer base
* You make cold calls or perform warm outreach, putting outside-the-box thinking to work to develop new and unusual sales tactics
* You work with the Account Management team to design industry-specific outbound efforts including industry events
* You apply our sales tools to ensure standard processes during all sales stages
* You conduct month-end and year-end close processes
Who Are We Looking For
We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:
* 3-5 years of experience as a sales specialist or representative, ideally in the data/digital technology environment
* Bachelor’s degree or similar education
* Shown success rate at levels above sales quotas
* Strong organisational skills
* Experience working with CRM platforms
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, virtual, and organizational skills
* Engaging: finding creative ways to engage with customers and prospects
* Experience of building a targeted prospects list and converting into sales pipeline
* Curiosity, open-mindedness, and a strong drive for finding solutions
* Ability to analyze business opportunities and read situations well
* Ability to secure conversations and meetings with prospects
* Motivation and passion for understanding and solving customer problems
