A Project Management Consultancy are recruiting for Contract Managers to work on site with their client on a major Water project framework.
The Contracts Mangers will be based on site 3 days a week in Peterborough and 2 days working remotely.
The Role:
We are looking for experienced Contract Managers to work on a water project seconded to the client in the Cambridgeshire area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Management of Commercials – cost estimates, procurement, subcontracts
* Robust Cost Management – Actuals and forecast, variance analysis
* Contract Management – contract administration, EWNs, CE, final accounts, supply chain
* Project and Programme Risk – risk and opportunity management, dispute/ disallowed costs
* Management of project governance aligned to AW procedures – change, risk etc.
* Monthly reporting
* Manage portfolios of project
* Liaise with various functional teams and Project Boards
Key Candidate Criteria:
1. Strong Contracts and Commercial Management experience in the Utilities/Infrastructure or Energy sectors – Water project experience is desirable
2. Extensive pre- and post-contract experience in a commercial role.
