Company Description
Red Bull UK is currently recruiting for a Category Specialist Intern to be based in London. This is a paid internship. The internship runs from the 9th June 2025 to 5th September 2025. You must be available for the whole duration of the programme.
Working in the Grocery Category team, you will support on one of our key customer accounts. You will use multiple data sources to analyse market performance and seek opportunities to drive Soft Drinks growth, while making recommendations to improve merchandising of their fixture. You will seek to create a strong relationship with the customer and be the “go to” contact in providing unbiased, actionable insights to help them grow their Soft Drinks category.

Actionable Insights
Analysing market and customer data from various sources
Summarising and communicating findings in clear ways internally and externally
Delivering clear and robust insights via a compelling story to your retail customer
Becoming an expert in Soft Drinks, advising on all categories, not just Sports & Energy
Relationship Building
Build relationships internally especially with National Account and Grocery Regional Account Executives
Build relationships externally with Regional Buyers and Category Planners/ Merchandisers
Improving Merchandising Principles
Use ‘Space Planning’ software to design Soft Drinks fixtures
Taking merchandising recommendations to your regional buyers to improve flow/sales
Customer Insights
Using retailer’s loyalty card data to understand the shopper & their behaviours in-store
Finding ways to grow with your retail customer through shopper behaviours
Qualifications
