The Role
As a Van Driver, you will represent Radwell as the first point of contact for our clients, ensuring a consistently high standard of customer service. Operating in a courteous and professional manner, you will be responsible for the collection of repairs, returns, and surplus stock from customer sites. Additionally, your role will include the following responsibilities:
Conduct scheduled collections and deliveries across the assigned region
Gather data on customer assets as part of our proactive Obsolescence Management Programme
Accurately record asset information, including photographs, part numbers, and condition
Utilise mobile applications and digital forms to input data efficiently and accurately
Collaborate with the Sales and Logistics teams to plan and execute efficient delivery routes
Use IT tools such as Outlook, SatNav, and Microsoft Teams to manage daily schedules and communication
Driving up to 200+ miles/day, lifting up to 16kg.
Escalate relevant asset data to the Technical ALA team when necessary
Act as a professional representative of Radwell at all times, ensuring excellent service and building positive client relationships
About You
The ideal candidate will possess:
A valid UK Driver’s Licence
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in IT systems and software
Strong attention to detail and a high level of reliability
Comfortable in warehouse, plant, and office settings
A commitment to providing exceptional customer service
Previous experience in a field service or technical role (preferred but not essential)
In addition, a CCNSG qualification would be desirable; however, Radwell is committed to our employees obtaining accredited qualifications, so if you do not currently possess any formal CCNSG qualifications but have a desire to obtain one, we would be supportive of sponsoring any training.
