Deputy Camp Manager - OCTOBER HALF TERM
Join our management team at Camp Beaumont to play a pivotal role in creating unforgettable, award-winning experiences for children. You will be at the heart of our operations, guiding and supporting our team to deliver exceptional day camp programs and ensuring the well-being of all our young camp members.
About the role:
As a Camp Beaumont Deputy Camp Manager, you will support the Camp Manager in running a multi-activity day camp for 3 to 14-year-olds during summer and school holiday weekdays. You will provide essential support to the Camp Manager, ensuring staff members are fully equipped to deliver exceptional and fun experiences for the children. Working with the management team, you contribute to the overall success of our camps, leaving a positive impact on young campers' lives and creating cherished, lasting memories.
The ability to communicate is essential in this position as you will often interact with parents and work closely with the Area Manager and other departments.
About you:
1. Over 18 years old
2. Available to work during the school holidays
3. A UK/EU citizen with 2 x right to work ID’s
4. Experience working in a childcare setting and managing a small team
5. Possess bags of energy and enthusiasm
6. Passionate about working with children
7. Have initiative and the ability to work independently
8. High level of safeguarding awareness
9. Paediatric first aid is desirable as we offer this as part of our training
10. A level 3 childcare qualification / PGCE is desirable
