Key Responsibilities: Conducting mechanical fitting and maintenance on marine vessels Inspecting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical systems and components Ensuring all work complies with relevant safety and quality standards Collaborating with other team members to achieve project objectives Providing technical support and troubleshooting as needed Documenting all maintenance activities and reporting any issues Adhering to work schedules and completing tasks within allocated timeframes Job Requirements: Mechanical fitting experience, preferably within the marine or offshore sector Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Knowledge of safety standards and protocols in mechanical fitting Eligibility for Security Clearance (SC) Flexible to work 12-hour days, including travel time Experience with PAYE or Umbrella company working arrangements Benefits: Exciting contract role within the marine industry Opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects Competitive compensation package Travel allowance provided One rate all hours, with a daily schedule of 10 working hours plus 2 hours travel time £40 daily travel allowance Certain in date courses/cards are required for the role and the client will arrange as necessary, a slightly lower rate may be applicable during this process depending on what is required.
