Job Description:
Student Engagement Support Officer Full time – Monday to Friday Greenwich – Hybrid – 3 days office based & 2 days remote working £28,000.00 per annum. As Student Engagement Support Officer, you will work within the University Placements team to support, develop, and prepare master's students for their one-year industrial placement, including their future employment with cutting-edge employability skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop the employability skills of international students through 121 meetings.
2. Prepare industry-standard CVs for the UK market, individually engaging with each student.
3. Understand the roles, companies and job search platforms from SEO, providing correct advice and guidance for all students.
4. Advise and provide detailed feedback on cover letters and placement options.
5. Maintain records on the CRM system.
6. Assist in career events.
Skills & Experience:
1. Degree in Education or English.
2. Excellent verbal and written skills.
3. Ability to work on own initiative and complete the required tasks without supervision.
4. Experience in the development of students' employability skills.
5. Experience of proof reading or copy editing is desirable.

The successful candidate must be able to work in the UK.
