We are seeking a motivated Energy and Sustainability Engineer and Certified Non-Domestic Energy Assessor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years experience in building performance modelling, EPC and energy assessments, and sustainable design strategies for commercial and domestic properties.
Domestic and non-domestic EPC assessments.
Conduct dynamic simulation modelling using IES and other software.
Produce SBEM and SAP calculations for new and existing buildings.
Apply building physics principles to inform sustainable design and energy efficiency improvements.
Provide expert advice on carbon reduction strategies for new builds and retrofits.
Collaborate with project teams, clients, and consultants to integrate sustainability into development briefs.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Sustainable Design, Energy Engineering, Building Technology, Sustainable Architecture, or a related field.
Certified or willing to become certified as a commercial/domestic Energy Assessor.
Knowledge or formal training in building physics and retrofit strategies.
Knowledge or formal training in Whole Life Carbon Assessment using OneClick LCA or similar. Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate multiple sustainability options.
Familiarity with UK building regulations, energy performance, and retrofit standards.
Interest in architectural design and proficiency in CAD/Revit is desirable but not essential.
