Access to top tier talent is key to make magazines stand out on the newsstand, help drive revenue through our content, and to help lock in sponsors for future brand events. ABOUT THE ROLE The Entertainment Writer works over Women’s Lifestyle and Luxury, supporting the Entertainment Directors in the Talent Hub, to deliver top tier talent, and associated content, for print, digital, video and events. This role is key in writing engaging, insightful, and timely entertainment coverage, from news stories to in-depth celebrity interviews and features on the biggest film, TV, and music releases. The writer ensures that entertainment content is dynamic, high-quality, and aligned with brand identity across all platforms, including Cosmopolitan, Red, Prima, ELLE, Esquire and Harper's Bazaar. They keep the talent team informed of upcoming entertainment releases, maintaining an up-to-date schedule and proactively pitching coverage ideas, working closely with Directors In addition to writing and pitching, the Entertainment Writer will also support booking talent for the brand’s events, securing high-profile guests and managing communications with talent reps. ABOUT YOU The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in and extensive knowledge of the entertainment and pop culture industry, along with a network of relevant contacts. They should have experience working in this space across luxury and/or lifestyle brands, ideally for a cons umer publication. Additionally, they must be a proficient and passionate writer and interviewer with a proven track record in booking, managing, and producing celebrity-based projects.
