Cabin Fitter
Location: Wiga n, WN2 2PP
Pay Rate: £14.20ph
Shifts: Monday to Friday 07:00 - 15:30
Assignment: Temp to perm
Are you looking to work for a global leader in modular space solutions? Manpower is recruiting for Cabin Fitters for our National Client based in Wigan. Reporting into your site manager you will be work with a small team while adhering to the Company Health and Safety Policy and any site-specific restrictions. Within this role you will be required to assist in the preparation of a range of cabins prior to them going out on hire.
Responsibilities:
* Clean units and fittings both internally and externally.
* Perform basic painting of cabin exteriors.
* Remove internal fittings.
* Lock fitting and key cutting.
* Assist and work closely with tradespeople.
* Carry out general housekeeping duties.
* Continuously check and work to quality standards, meeting customer expectations
* Fitting partitions, replacing plywood flooring
* Repairing and replace wall/ceiling boards
* Handle manual lifting and moving tasks.
* General maintenance
* PAT testing
In the first six months, success will involve understanding company policies, processes, and Health and Safety guidelines. By one year, success includes proficiency in unit preparation, meeting quality standards, understanding business processes, and maintaining good relationships with peers and management. By three years, success will be full proficiency in the role, the ability to train others, and a deep knowledge of tasks, operations, targets, and customer needs.

* General maintenance skills and experience
* Basic knowledge of power tools
* Ability to work as an individual as well as part of a team.
* Be confident working at heights.
* Has a strong work ethic and the ability to be proactive.
* Flexible attitude to working.
* Capable of working to and achieving set targets/deadlines.
* CSCS Blue card would be an advantage but not required
* MPBA/ECA - Electrical like for like replacement
