Quakers Lane Surgery is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Practice Nurse who will work as an integral part of the nursing team, using their skills and knowledge to offer holistic care to our registered patients.
We are offering two permanent positions of 19 hours and 27 hours.
Main duties of the job
1. Experience in Chronic Disease & long-term conditions, including Respiratory, Diabetes, Hypertension, LD
2. Wound care, dressings & removal of sutures
3. Immunisations of Children and Adults
4. ECG's
5. Cervical Screening
About us
We are a semi-rural practice based in the beautiful town of Richmond, North Yorkshire, providing care to around 6500 patients. We are a friendly Dispensing practice with 4 GP Partners & 1 Salaried GP.
We are recruiting due to retirement; our nursing team consists of 2 Practice Nurses & two Healthcare Assistants. Our Clinical Team is supported by our Management Team, Administrators & Dispensing Team.
Quakers Lane Surgery liaises with patients, clients, visitors to the practice & NHS Humber and North Yorkshire ICB.

Experience
* Ability to work unsupervised.
* Effective team worker.
* Experience working on SystmOne.
Qualifications
* NMC Registered Nurse with active registration.
* Nurse Prescribing, Contraception, HRT, Diabetes Management & Cervical Cytology qualifications.
