The company already have a successful track record spanning 40+ years, and would like to continue to grow to enable this they would like to hire someone who can pro-actively share their product portfolio, capabilities and after sales service with engineering companies across a 25 mile radius of Yeovil.
They offer a competitive basic salary, uncapped commission, 24 days annual leave + bank holidays and a range of targeted incentives. Day to day your job will require you to build strong relations with your customer accounts by making contact via phone, email and other communication methods to promote their range of machining products. Youll put together quotations, follow them up and gain sales orders to be added to the companys system. The role is office based, Monday to Friday, with slightly flexible start/finish times:
* Mon Thurs 08.00 or 08.30 start 17.00 or 17.30 finish
* Friday 15.00 finish
*(30 mins or 1 hour lunch depending on preference)
Candidates that will suit this role will be full of energy with a positive mindset, able to overcome objections and always have a structured approach to building new business pipeline. The job will be much easier for someone who has previously worked as a machinist, or a technical engineer that has previous tooling and/or machining experience.
