We are looking for a NMC registered nurse to join NHS Forth Valley’s Occupational Health Service. The Occupational Health Service is committed to providing comprehensive specialist services to NHS Forth Valley’s workforce and clients within service level and contractual agreements. The Occupational Health Service is working towards SEQOHS accreditation. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team the post holder will have an active role in internal clinical governance to deliver of an efficient, effective and high quality service. We are looking for highly motivated individuals with the ability to develop specialised occupational health nursing skills. Training, learning and development of specialised occupational health nursing skills will be provided to advance a career in the field of occupational health under the supervision of the occupational health nursing Team. The post holder will be responsible for delivering a range occupational health clinical services including pre-placement health assessments, health surveillance programmes, immunisation programmes, assessment of blood borne virus exposures along with general occupational health advice and signposting clients to appropriate services internally and externally. To be able to carry out this role effectively you will need to be organised and have excellent communication skills. Good computer skills (Word, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint and experience of eOPAS etc). Post holder will be based at the Occupational Health Department at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Larbert. Successful candidates will be provided with opportunities for further training and development to advance their career in the field of occupational health nursing. Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
