About the Role:
Nine Twenty is working with a well-established manufacturing company to find a Quality Excellence Manager who will join their management team and ensure that the company exceeds customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advocate for strong H & S practices and develop a H & S culture.
* Lead Quality culture maturity and excellence through a measured programme.
* Support the Glasgow site and work collaboratively with the cutting plant in Paisley to progress Quality Improvements.
* Create a proactive quality culture that is data-driven, with clear priorities.
* Ensure Quality KPIs are met and support other functional KPIs as required.
* Maintain adherence to company procedures and processes in line with requirements for IATF16949, AS9100, ISO9001 or others defined by the business.
* Quality Control Management including product compliance and verification against internal and customer specifications.
* Manage corrective actions, delivery of PPAP/PSW approvals, and quality performance statistical data analysis.
* Manage Quality resources, both proactive (continuous improvement) and reactive (containment).
* Report to Business stakeholders on Quality performance through accurate data analysis.
* Responsible for data gathering, problem solving, project management, and delivering meaningful presentations.
* Identify best quality practices and use them to drive improvements within operations.
* Presents, facilitates, and coordinates assigned Quality events.
* Develop and manage Quality team members.
* Communicate quality performance internally and externally.
* E nsure Environmental and employee Wellbeing is achieved.
Requirements:
* A degree in a related discipline.
* Strong communication skills, being clear, concise, and confident.
* Demonstrates adaptability, accountability, initiative, courage, and resilience.
* Leadership skills to engage stakeholders and demonstrate passion for excellence.
* Understanding of Quality Excellence and use of a network.
* Problem-solving skills to seek valid information to solve and eliminate issues.
* Results-orientated, focusing on drivers that affect results and taking responsibility.
* Previous experience in a senior level Quality role within manufacturing.
* Experience with statistical analysis, work measurement, and process analysis.
* Programme and project management skills.
* Experience in developing and implementing meaningful KPIs and targeting key areas of improvement.
* Quality Management experience - minimum 5 years.
* Understanding of Power BI and ability to develop reports.
Salary:
$65,000 - $85,000 per annum.
