Learning Support Assistants – Specialist Autism School (Near Salisbury)
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join a specialist school near Salisbury, providing high-quality support to pupils with Autism and additional needs.
This role is well-suited to individuals with prior experience in supporting children with special educational needs, particularly within an educational setting. The school is seeking professionals who are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of their pupils and who are looking for a long-term or permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support to pupils with Autism, helping them to access learning in a structured and supportive environment.
* Assist teachers and SEN specialists in delivering personalised learning plans.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere.
* Encourage the development of social, emotional, and academic skills in pupils.
Essential Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children with additional needs.
* Experience within an educational setting is highly desirable.
* Ability to commit to full-time hours (37 hours per week).
* A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the school’s location.
* A patient, proactive, and empathetic approach to supporting children with SEN.
* A desire to secure a long-term or permanent position.
