This is Alexander Faraday Recruitment are delighted to be working with an exciting food manufacturer who are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join their team.
The Role
The purpose of the role is to manage Supply ChainPlanning, Warehouse and Distribution. You will have four direct reports across the supply chain function.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* End-to-end supply chain
* Lead and influence the supply chain team
* Measurement, management and reporting of supplier performance
* Develop planning across the supply chain, including demand, supply and delivery
* Ensuring inventory levels are maintained at appropriate target levels across the network
* Work closely with support functions such as Procurement
* Manage a team of four
* Staff development and training
What They Look For
* Must have Supply Chain experience gained within the Food Services industry
* Experience of forecasting and demand planning
* Operations experience
* Understands H&S, food temperatures, compliance etc.
* Advanced Excel
* Strong staff management skills
