We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team on a full-time supply basis in Sunderland. About the Role As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the learning and development of children within the classroom. Working closely with teachers, you will assist in delivering engaging lessons, providing one-to-one support, and creating a positive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Supporting the teacher in the delivery of the curriculum. Working with small groups or individual students to provide targeted support. Assisting in classroom management and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere. Preparing resources and materials to enhance lessons. Promoting the social and emotional development of pupils. Supporting children with additional learning needs. What We’re Looking For: A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. Experience working within a school environment, preferably in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive approach to supporting learning and fostering a positive classroom environment. An understanding of safeguarding practices in schools.
