What you will do in your working day
Usual day to day duties may include:
* Arrange time/location to be picked up for site visits
* Liaise with mentor and office staff for job pack for specified location/time
* Assist with what tasks will be completed that day
* Load out site with required materials for the day
* Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety regulations
* Ensure all work completed is to high company and industry standards
* Ensure all paperwork and correspondence is completed in a timely manner
* You will be required to work at height, when necessary
The training you will be getting
* The qualification you will recieve is a Level 3 Electrotechnical Apprenticeship Qualififcation, delivered over a period of 2 years
* Training will be 2 days per week at the training centre, In-Comm Training Services in Aldridge, WS9 8UG, and 3 days per week at the company for the first year, followed by monthly assessor visits for the remainder of the training
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
* Full time position upon successful completion of the apprenticeship as qualified engineer with a salary of £25,000 minimum
* Between 3 and 5 years of service there could be potential promotion to Senior Engineer, earning £35,000 per year
