Key Responsibilities for Bank Cleaner Caretaker: To support the running of six busy community centres ensuring they are clean, welcoming and safe. To support with keyholding planned around bookings and ensuring our customers have a great experience.
Key duties
• Ensure that the centres are opened for hirers at the agreed times and that the building is se-cure afterwards.
• Use initiative, ensuring the centres are clean, tidy and safe for hirers.
• Carry out specific cleaning as instructed by your line manager.
• Advise your line manager of restocking requirements for cleaning when necessary.
• Liaise with centre managers or the facilities manager in order to report major problems and rectify routine problems such as light bulbs, fuses etc.
• Set up furniture and equipment for groups if necessary.
• Welcome visitors to the hub as they arrive and deal with any queries they may have.
• Be personable and able to communicate with customers.
This role will require weekend and evening working.
