Step Teachers are a looking for a French Teacher for a part time role in a Secondary School near Broxbourne for an ongoing, long term supply role. The working days are 3 full days per week, Monday and Tuesday with some flexibility on the third day. The school are looking for a French Teacher who is confident teaching both KS3 and KS4 including preparation for GSCE exams. The school, which has been continually rated "Good" under the former Ofsted ratings for schools, prides itself on their standards and ensures each student can succeed in a safe and healthy environment. The school has high expectations and values the work from both staff and students. French Teacher Role: Strong knowledge of the French curriculum at Secondary School Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resources Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these French Teacher Requirements: Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification for teaching in Secondary School Have recent mainstream Secondary School-based experience as a French Teacher Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management A relevant MFL or French related degree is desirable.
