Position: Maintenance Engineer

Key Qualifications:
Relevant qualifications such as an advanced modern apprenticeship, Level 3 NVQ/BTEC, or equivalent is mandatory.
Proven experience in a similar role within maintenance operations, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
Technical skills in automotive engineering, both mechanical and electrical.
Expertise in Fault Finding, with a preference for experience with PLCs (Allen Bradley is ideal).
Knowledge of Electrical Control and Mechanical Systems.
Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure safe and efficient equipment performance within the Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People & Environment framework.
Drive cost reduction initiatives by identifying root causes of faults and implementing permanent corrective actions.
Contribute to the achievement of preventative maintenance (PPM) targets, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal equipment function.
Provide technical support during breakdowns (TPM), ensuring quick and safe recovery of all facilities and controls.
Achieve set objectives for equipment service and repair, adhering to best practices in safety and efficiency.

Shift Choice 1: "322" Shift Pattern
12-hour shifts (night shift inclusive)
Pay rate: £43.73 Umbrella PAYE per hour.
