The chosen candidate will form part of a dynamic teamcommitted to pushing the boundaries, working together to achieve the desiredresults and the best outcome for our patients. You will assist work on complexsystems, carry out dynamic risk assessments, work autonomously as required,organising and rectifying reactive works and carrying out statutory plannedmaintenance items to ensure maximum availability of equipment to minimize anydowntime. Main duties of the job
Thesuccessful candidate will work as part of the Estates management team, managingthe staff and also responsible for the maintenance/record keeping of equipment.The role covers a wide spectrum of responsibility from carrying out AuthorisedPerson duties such as ventilation and Pressure systems to "driving"teams of staff to support reactive works, installations and routine servicing.Support Estates Managers with contracts and specialist maintenance contractorsensuring that we perform and complete our Statutory obligations.
Therole will focus upon some key areas such as managing workflow, communicatingwith key stakeholders, carrying out Risk assessments, acting as a team leader,ensuring policies and procedures are adhered too and promoting productivity.This role will be either mechanically/electrically biased working with otherEstates managers on a variety of works and projects to directly support patientcare. The role will offer trainingopportunities to help develop the successful candidate who will work withoutside agencies, other Trust departments, specialised maintenance contractorsand valued partners.
