For our data centers in the Zürich area, we are looking for Data Center Security Managers to manage our day-to-day physical security operations.
Under the direct leadership of the Cluster Security Manager, the Data Center Security Manager maintains the physical security posture of his assigned site with the support of the security guard force vendor.

Key job responsibilities
1. Responds to Security situations as they arise, based on the direction of the Cluster or Regional Security Manager.
2. Supports the on-site contractor Security team as the primary security contact during the shift and provides guidance based upon existing Physical Security Standards and local SOPs.
3. Reports all unusual events to the Cluster Manager in a timely manner.
4. Provides guidance and direction to the contract security officers to maximize the effectiveness of the Security department.
5. Oversees access control systems and badge deliveries.
6. Investigates security events via the alarm and CCTV monitoring system.
7. Cooperates and coordinates with the Security Operation Center during security incidents or any other security-related matter.
8. Creates and constantly improves procedures, processes, and workflows using data and metrics to identify issues and areas of improvements.
9. Develops specific knowledge of the various operational process paths within the Data Center to identify security vulnerabilities.
10. Performs various security inspections, audits, and investigations as required and as instructed.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 7+ years of commercial or industrial work experience.
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in security or related fields; i.e., logistics, transportation, facilities, amongst others.
* Proficient English verbal and written communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Member of a security professional body.
* Security specific qualifications and/or proof of continued personal development.
* People manager experience.
