An exciting opportunity has arisen within Powys Teaching Health Board Outpatients Department for a Project Officer to join our Waiting Well Service in Planned Care.
The post holder will be responsible for providing and co-ordinating a comprehensive support service to projects as determined within the 3Ps Policy i.e. Promote, Prevent and Prepare for Planned Care by empowering patients to keep well while on the waiting list.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide reliable and consistent administrative and project support to the Waiting Well Service and associated groups, prioritising workload and dealing with or referring enquiries as appropriate.
They will communicate and receive complex, sensitive information, both written and verbal, across multi-disciplinary teams and external organisations always maintaining confidentiality.
The postholder will also produce monitoring reports and returns for Welsh Government, Steering Group, Planned Care Board, and other groups as required.

Person Specification
Qualifications and / or Knowledge
* HND or NVQ3 plus relevant experience or equivalent level qualification with Literacy & Numeracy at level 2
* Advanced Keyboard Skills e.g. RSA level III
* ECDL or equivalent
Experience
* Significant experience of working in an office in an administrative role
* Experience of dealing with confidential and sensitive data and appropriate maintenance and storage of records
* Ability to produce reports, spreadsheets and correspondence
* Minute taking and recording
* Experience of autonomous working
* Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
* Awareness of policies and procedures relating to dealing with confidential data both personal and organisational
* Working knowledge of filing/data systems including records management
* Knowledge of administrative and organisational procedures, acquired through training and relevant experience
* Working in an NHS environment
* Experience of maintaining and uploading content to websites
