About the Role
The Internal Communications, Culture and Engagement Manager is pivotal in ensuring colleagues are kept up to date with everything that is happening in the business. You are crucial in sharing our strategy, driving employee engagement and constantly looking for new and innovative ways to communicate and drive our culture forward.
You will work closely with the CEO, CPO, Director of Corporate Affairs and the rest of the Executive Committee (ExCo) to support with day to day messaging and storytelling, ensuring that our colleagues understand the part they play in our future strategy. You will bring our customers to life with the strategic aim of driving increased colleague advocacy of our products and services across the organisation.
This role will report to the Chief People Officer and will work be a member of the People Leadership Team, working closely also with the Corporate Affairs team to aid internal and external alignment. This role will manage 1 FTE.
What you will be working on
1. Be the Culture transformation lead – gather data and analysis on the culture of TalkTalk and collate plans and lead all workstream leads on the delivery of culture improvement plans
2. Provide a comms business partner style service to the TalkTalk ExCo, to drive colleague engagement and increased understanding of strategy, support the Networks and eNPS analysis
3. Working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure successful ‘all company’ communication including:
4. All Company Comms including organisational announcements and company updates
5. Comms support and advice on activity roadmaps; co-ordinating, executing and promoting campaigns / product launches etc.
6. Provide messaging to tell the narrative of the business
7. Stakeholder management is crucial to deliver engaging updates including Weekly Stand-Ups, Spotlight Sessions, Listening Sessions and all company events
8. Co-ordinating company-wide events (both in-person and virtual) to enthuse and engage colleagues, including project planning, budget management and delegate experience
9. Being a subject matter expert on when and how to communicate and advise on the tools available and metrics to aid measurement and future planning
10. Provide online community management across our digital channels
11. Undertake other group communications projects as and when required
12. Regular contact and close collaboration with the Corporate Affairs team, in particular External Communications
13. Support and guide the employee Networks to enable them to be front and centre across the organisation
14. Support, communicate and enable engagement plans from data collated from our engagement survey completed on a quarterly basis.
