This Events Executive role is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with an incredible team, in our office in Chetwynd Barracks, Chilwell, Nottingham, on planning and delivering fundraising events; development of our supporter base; engagement with stakeholders and providing support to the local network of volunteers.
Establishing and maintaining relationships, both outside and within the Charity, is key to this appointment and the successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, be well organised, and have an easy yet confident manner. They will be expected to operate with local corporate entities, civic administrations, high net worth individuals, local trusts, and charitable organisations, as well as with Army and Army Cadet Force units. They will have a strong administrative foundation, coupled with a determination to succeed in this varied and challenging position.
The starting salary is £32,500. After a probationary period of 6 months the successful candidate will benefit from the Charity's full range of employment benefits, including an income protection scheme and an employer contribution pension. There will also be opportunities to participate in key Charity events and activities, with a TOIL scheme in place. This is a full-time post for 35 hours per week, on an initial two-year fixed-term contract based at the Charity's Office in Chetwynd Barracks. (The Charity currently operates a minimum of 2 days in the office).
