Job overview
We are seeking a motivated and inspirational Divisional Chief Nurse to lead our nursing team within the Surgical Division here at SASH. As a key member of the senior leadership at the Trust, you will be responsible for the effectiveness of professional leadership and development of nursing within the division to facilitate the delivery of excellent clinical practice and high-quality care. As part of the divisional triumvirate, you will work alongside the Chief of Service and Divisional Director to shape and clearly define the vision for the division, with specific accountability for nursing standards.
Main duties of the job
As Divisional Chief Nurse, you will be professionally accountable for all registered nurses within the division and ensure professional workforce and development plans are aligned to service need. Through strong leadership and change management skills, you will collaborate with the Triumvirate to implement and evaluate innovative models of care delivery that meet the needs of service users, the Trust Board, the Integrated Care System and regulators.
