LOCATION & HOURS OF WORK This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend 60% of our time a month in the office.
What you will be doing
Join our vibrant Central Finance team at easyJet as a Central Overheads Finance Manager! In this pivotal role, you'll report to the Senior Finance Manager and take charge of managing overhead costs for key business areas such as Finance, Insurance, Legal, and Group Markets. This role is perfect for those who thrive in dynamic settings, offering you the chance to work closely with top leaders from the CFO to various Directors. You'll be instrumental in providing strategic financial analysis, making informed financial decisions, and monitoring the financial health of these sectors.
Your responsibilities will include steering the strategic and annual planning for overhead costs, crafting budgets, re-forecasting, and carrying out detailed monthly reporting and analysis. You'll also lead cost-saving initiatives, evaluate business cases, and provide valuable insights on potential risks and opportunities. With a focus on accuracy and detail, you'll oversee the monthly financial processes, assist in internal audits, and maintain the integrity of the balance sheet. As a key player at easyJet, you'll build and maintain strong relationships across different functions and guide junior team members, all while achieving financial targets and advancing easyJet's strategic objectives.

What you need to do the role
At easyJet, we're on the lookout for someone who is fully qualified to bring their expertise to our dynamic team. With a minimum of three years' experience post-qualification, you will have outstanding analytical abilities, particularly in variance analysis, and demonstrate a capacity to juggle multiple tasks and projects efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
Your ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and accessible manner will be key in liaising with stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in Excel, including basic macros, is a must, and familiarity with TM1 is highly advantageous.
