Job summary We are currently looking to recruit 2 x Male Band 3 Health care support worker in Llety Newydd based in Cardiff in keeping with the positive action provision within the Equality Act 2010 order to meet Service user need and employee safety. We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated person with experience of working with people with learning disabilities, mental health issues, behaviours which challenge, complex health needs. Previous experience in a similar area of work, with knowledge and experience of implementing Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) with individuals who may present with complex behaviours that challenge. Main duties of the job The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude towards supporting people with challenging behaviour and experience of working effectively within a multi-disciplinary environment. Candidates would assist in the provision of both personal and health care, contributing to comprehensive treatment plans for each individual. Candidates would support individuals to access meaningful activities and recognise early warning signs that require care plan intervention. Candidates must also be able to demonstrate commitment to developing their skills.
