Ramboll is looking for a passionate, creative and enthusiastic intern to join our Cambridge Buildings team for a summer placement between 6 weeks and 3 months in duration. Ramboll’s placement programme is a great way to kickstart or continue your learning by gaining real world experience with our expert Engineers across a range of disciplines. You will join our Cambridge Buildings team
As our new Intern you will be part of a dynamic and growing company, learning about technical design and practical aspects of engineering. You will get hands-on experience through collaborative project work and be given a mentor for your placement who will train, monitor and provide feedback on your performance throughout your work.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
* Assist the team with identifying and developing engineering design solutions that are robust, sustainable, and in line with our client’s needs and expectations.
* Carry out engineering calculations and computational analysis.
* Create engineering drawings and sketches, working with the team to communicate our solutions effectively.
* Assist the team in their daily work as required.
* May involve visits to our project sites.

* Working towards a Civil/Structural/MEP Engineering (or similar) degree in the UK.
* Student member of a professional institution (ICE or IStructE).
* A desire to experience and build on a career in engineering design.
* Good communication skills, both written and oral.
